Jim O’Connell is the President of Boston Healthcare for the Homeless Program and an Assistant Profession of Medicine At Harvard Medical School. His incredible journey to care for the unhoused community is truly a story of selfless service.
As we work hard to support the finances of hospitals, health systems, and providers in the MA-RI area, we do not want to lose sight of the most vulnerable among us. Our HFMA chapter will be participating in next February’s Winter Walk, an awareness and fundraising effort to end homelessness. Boston Healthcare for the Homeless is one of the benefactors of the Winter Walk.
