As we kick-off the new HFMA year, we are excited to welcome three new members: Eva Greenwood, William Sullivan, and AnnMarie Martinez to the board. Over the next few weeks we will be learning more about each of them. This week we will hear from AnnMarie.
Blog: AnnMarie, welcome to the MA-RI HFMA board! To start, would you please tell us where you work and what your role is?
AnnMarie: I am the Vice President of Managed Care Contracting at Baystate Health/Baycare Health Partners.
Blog: What is your role on the HFMA board?
AnnMarie: I will be focusing my first year on our New to Healthcare programming.
Blog: What are you most excited for this year with the chapter?
AnnMarie: I’m interested in inviting engaging and informative conversations for those in the world of healthcare finance and serving as representation to the often-underrepresented leaders of color.
Blog: What do you do for fun outside of work?
AnnMarie: I am a single mom of 3 kids ages 17, 14, and 11 so I am usually a glorified chauffeur, but i love going to concerts.
Blog: What is a fun fact about yourself?
AnnMarie: I made it to Hollywood on American Idol many “moons” ago.
