Emotional, mental, and physical factors in our life challenge us as women and leaders; these things can quickly empty out your cup but can also easily be replenished when you know how. A Leadership Journey with Purpose & Passion with Sarah Iselin, President and CEO of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of MA. Sarah will discuss the evolution of her career and leadership style as she begins her new job with a goal to create a health care system that’s more empathetic, equitable, accessible, and affordable for all. Sarah brings nearly 30 years of experience in health care strategy, policy, operations, finance, and philanthropy to Blue Cross and leads the company’s work to create a health care system that is more empathetic, equitable, accessible, and affordable for all.

Joanna De Pena, Founder and Executive Director, Top Notch Scholars. Joanna founded Top Notch Scholars in 2015, a leadership development non-profit organization dedicated to helping kids find their life passion and career goals and guiding them towards success through leadership academies, internships and conferences.

Amy Hoey, President, Lowell General Hospital. Ms. Hoey leads the preparation of the organization’s annual goals and objectives, and continually evaluates the plans to ensure the successful performance of Lowell General Hospital and its ability to meet its mission to put Patients First in Everything We Do.

Deborah Wilson, President & Chief Executive Officer, Lawrence General Hospital will moderate. Deb Wilson has 40 years of experience in health care leadership, finance, and operations. Deb joined LGH in 2011 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial officer, then became the Hospital’s Executive Vice President and ultimately became the CEO in February 2020.

Two Leaders with One Vision: Addressing Youth Development and Equity at Camp Harborview
Learn how to use your voice to do good. The challenges and rewards of two women working together as leaders of Camp Harborview, and their combined efforts to address youth development and racial, economic and health equity through their work with kids and families. With styles very different one from the other, these leaders are completely compatible, and will share how they lead with impact.

Sharon McNally is the President of Camp Harbor View, where she had led its work since its founding in 2007. Camp Harbor View partners with Boston teens and families through year-round youth programs and family services to cultivate long-term opportunity for young people and economic stability and mobility for families.

Lisa Fortenberry is one of Boston’s most established, innovative, and inspiring leaders in the youth development field, bringing nearly 20 years of experience to her current role as the Executive Vice President of Camp Harbor View.

How to Own Your Personal Brand & Live Your Best Life. Danielle Vardaro, Vice President of Worldwide Customer Support & Aftermarket Sales at Embraer will share her journey as a mechanical engineer. She has found a way to use her influence and impact to change the world. In this session you will you learn how to show up as your whole self, strengthen your brand and differentiate yourself from others!

Permission to Eat: Nutrition from and Abundance Mindset. Heather Zeman, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with Back Bay Health specializes in helping athletes and active adults address disordered eating patterns. In this session she will help you explore why diets don’t work and how giving yourself permission to eat everything from apples to doughnuts might just be the key to a healthier you. From an abundance mindset, this session will help you reconnect with your hunger cues, prepare balanced meals and snacks with ease, and fuel your body with the energy it deserves.
